As an author, DOAB helps increase visibility and discoverability of your OA books by making them more discoverable. It can also be used as a trustworthy source to find an appropriate OA book publisher due to the review process publishers undergo before being listed in the Directory.

As a researcher (or student or general reader), DOAB gives you access to a diverse, trusted, and qualitative collection source of references through browsing the collection.
